It's hard to believe that it is 2026 and we are one year away from our 100th Birthday!
In 1927, when Ernest Prince founded the McKeesport Candy Co., little could he have imagined that the company would last a century or, with its partner company CandyFavorites.com, become one of the most innovative companies in the wholesale candy industry.
Much has changed over the years, but one thing that stands firm is our commitment to providing outstanding customer service, if only to live up to our motto: "Candy is what we deliver but service is what we sell."
As we enter our 99th year, we hope to continue our longstanding traditions and honor our customers, to whom we are genuinely grateful for the opportunity to serve.

LICORICE HOLLOWS AND PASTELS COLOR CHANGE
We are still offering Licorice Hollows and Pastels.
Due to new laws restricting the use of certain food dyes, the products have changed in appearance, becoming more subdued - think Earth tones - in color.
The old pastel colors are no longer available from the manufacturer or us, and the change in appearance is not a sign of defect or manufacturing error.
The good news is that there has been no change in taste, and they are as delicious as ever!
In the coming years, every manufacturer will make changes to comply with mandatory laws requiring the removal of specific food dye colors.
In an age when classic candies are disappearing regularly, we should give thanks for the candies that remain, however different they may look.
