Eight years later, this company merged with the Chicago Biscuit Company (also defunct) and Leaf Gum, and it wasn’t until 1949 that their name was changed to Whoppers.

In the 1960s, Leaf Brands sold all of its confectionery products to WR Grace and then repurchased the brand in 1976!

Oooooh. I simply love Moon Pies, and have, since I was a kid. The double-decker variety is even better,than single Moon Pies. No wonder Moon Pies have stayed around, since 1917. They are great!

There wintergreen lozenges aremy favorite non-chocolate candy. I shouldn't have them, but when I have a low blood sugar (I'm a diabetic) episode, these are my 'medicinal wintergreen lozenges' to get my blood suger back up to where it should be.
