Details
Pink Wintergreen Lozenges deserve a place in the candy Hall of Fame as they are one of the oldest candies available! The original was made by NECCO who went out of business in 2019 but the new ones, manufactured by RITO, taste almost as good - maybe even better! Imitation, after all, is the highest form of flattery!
Much like White Peppermints, the original pink lozenges first appeared in Canada during the late 1880s, but didn't arrive in the United States until the early 1900s, hence their nickname "Canada Mints." Originally sold in bulk, it wasn't until 1916 that they were offered as a $.05 count good which gave them pride of place on any well-appointed candy counter. We are grateful they are back and you will be too...
- Net Weight 5 lb.
- Approximately 130 pieces per pound

Curtis McElroy I really like the taste
We're so glad you enjoy the Pink Wintergreen Lozenges. They are one of those unique retro candies that fortunately haven't changed much over the years. Thanks for your review and for choosing CandyFavorites.com!

Dean Kudrna Have little to no taste
Hi Dean, we're sorry to hear the lozenges didn't meet your expectations. We are not a manufacturer but rather an independent wholesaler - the oldest in the nation! We appreciate your feedback and will pass on your observation to the manufacturer. thanks for your understanding!

Dorothy Smith My husband loves these candies. That's why I buy them in bulk. They don't always last as long as they should, but I know where to get more!
We're thrilled to hear that your husband loves our Pink Wintergreen Lozenges! We apologize that they don't always last as long as they should, but we want to assure you that we're always working to improve our products. We will make sure to put a bag aside so they will always be available for you to reorder for your husband! Thanks for your support and have a great day!

Anonymous There wintergreen lozenges aremy favorite non-chocolate candy. I shouldn't have them, but when I have a low blood sugar (I'm a diabetic) episode, these are my 'medicinal wintergreen lozenges' to get my blood suger back up to where it should be.
Nothing beats a candy that tastes great and serves a purpose too! We are glad these help you keep your blood sugar in check and are ever appreciative of you choosing CandyFavorites and for leaving akind review too!
