As a "Year-round" Santa, I know my way around Candy Canes. Of several brands I have used over the years, Brachs have a significantly lower breakage rate, and (opinion) the second-best taste. They cost pennies more per hundred, but the reduced loss due to breakage more than compensates.

Brach's Christmas candy
I love the taste of the Brach's Candy Canes because they have just the right balance of peppermint and sweetness. The other brands have too much mint not enough sweet. Brach's are the best. Thank you CandyFavorites for supplying my favorite candies
