They are great for many reasons. Firstly, they are blue. It isn’t often that you get a peppermint candy in a translucent blue color, quite aesthetically pleasing. Secondly, they are individually wrapped. Forget the tic tacs that make it sound like you have a maraca in your pocket. These are conveniently wrapped so that you can throw them into your purse or pocket and munch one down before your date or job interview. Thirdly, you definitely get more of a breath mint effect from the ice blue mint than from the Starbrite peppermint. The Starbrite peppermint is tasty and sweeter than the blue ice, but it doesn’t give you the same minty cool breath that the blue mint coolers do. Not to say blue mints are so intense that it hurts your teeth just to breathe. If you want a mint for the primary purpose of eating a candy, choose the Starbrite peppermint (which would also great plopped in a cup of hot chocolate). If you want a mint for the primary purpose of having a minty fresh breath, go with the blue coolers. Enjoy!
