Very disappointing. I have never ordered from this company before and the other items I received were perfectly fine. However, these arrived looking as though they got wet and were fused together in bunches. Colors had mottled the shell and they were inedible. As I say, the other items were fine.
I love these wafers but this time it appears they may have been compromised at some time. The little beads inside aren’t as crunchy as usual. They don’t rattle in the wafer as they normally do when shaken. They may have melted at some point.
Satelitte Wafers are a unique candy as they can and will taste different depending on variables such as heat or humidity. In warm weather, they tend to be softer and vice versa in colder temperatures. The good news is that the formula hasn't changed in decades and all of our products are inspected prior to shipping to make sure thy are in perfect condition.
