Details
Dark Chocolate Peanut Chews were created in 1917 by the Goldenberg Family, and although mostly found on the East Coast, these are one of the most sought-after retro candies still available.
The unique taste of Dark Chocolate Peanut Chews made them a popular treat with the troops in two World Wars. With their patriotic lineage and delicious peanut taste, how could anyone say no to a piece of American candy history?
Please note that although the label changed and no longer shows the Goldenberg name, the delicious formula remains unchanged. While some things change, the good things remain the same....

Sharon Kieffert These are surprisingly very good. They remind me of a snickers.
Thanks for leaving a review for our Original Dark Chocolate Peanut Chews Bite Size. We're glad to hear that you enjoyed them and found them similar to a Snickers. Good call in terms of taste comparison! Our Dark Chocolate Peanut Chews are a classic and beloved treat on the East Coast and well worth the effort to find! Thanks for choosing CandyFavorites.com!
M
Michael Disher A favorite of WW II soldiers. Good reason. Less sweet than modern candies, the mixture of dark chocolates, molasses and peanuts is just right, in my opinion.
We're so glad to hear that our Original Dark Chocolate Peanut Chews are your favorite candy. We take pride in using a classic recipe that has been loved by many. We appreciate your support and hope you continue to enjoy the delicious blend of dark chocolate, molasses, and peanuts. Thank you for choosing CandyFavorites.com!

Rena Dooney These are just the right size snacks to add to lunch bags, hiking packs, & birthday gift packages. Not to mention that they’re my all time favorite chocolates- just the right blend of good dark chocolate, peanuts, & all the rest of the yummy ingredients !
Increasing hard to find, Peanut chews are worth the effort and the snack size helps with portion control too...as they are hard to stop eating too!

Tracey Z. Unfortunately, I did not receive the Dark Chocolate peanut chews, instead I received the milk chocolate peanut chews. Not my favorite however too much of a hassle to return. Hoping my next order is correct! Love this company!
Please accept our apologies for the filling error and please know that we GREATLY appreciate customers as gracious as you! If I can ever be of personal service, please reach out to me! Sincerely, Jon H.Prince / President
