We love nostalgic candy, and there's nothing more nostalgic than Wacky Wafers.
Originally created in the 1970s, Wacky Wafers were one of the Wonka brand’s pride and joy.
The candy was sold in a clear plastic wrapper, so buyers could see the coin-shaped candies they were about to indulge in.
A little while after their introduction, Wacky Wafers were downsized and sold in a box with all their fruity goodness, but were discontinued when Nestle purchased Wonka.
But fret no more!
In 2017, Wacky Wafers were saved, and you will never guess by whom… Leaf Brands. Wacky Wafers returned to their original size and packaging.
As the Talking Heads once said, “same as it ever was.” And candy lovers around the globe couldn’t be happier!
