and worth the effort to find as Licorice Snaps are so hard to find! We love them too!

James H. As someone who has loved snaps all their lives, I can tell the real formula from a company stating they have the original taste. Candy favorites is definitely the original ingredients. It’s the same soft black licorice with that unique candy coding that only original snaps has! I am wasting a lot of money buying these from different companies. I need to find out into different taste. These are the real deal.!
You hit the nail on the head when you said they were ' the real deal.' Few have imitated these bel;oved licorice candies but there is only ONE Original Licorice Snap!

Mary E. When I was younger we used to buy SNAPS and absolutely loved them. I was so excited when I found that you could now buy some. It was a childhood treat. I remember how good each flavor would taste. Delicious! They haven't seemed to change at all.
Some things never change, nor shoiuld they and that applies to our beloved Licorice Snaps! We are glad you could find a candy to connect with your childhood too!

Lenny K. It's a rare serendipity to find original SNAP these days. I may be 67, but when I do find these color-coated confectionaries I am transported back 60 years to Longendyke's dime store in Avon, South Dakota. Back then, they sold candy in bulk. There, with my allowance, I could get 10 cents worth of SNAPS served up in a small brown paper bag. Still today, I find myself continuing a youthful eating tradition with the black licorice treats. These small candy tubes weren't a perfect cylinder, so sometimes I crack them in half by biting down on the oblong sides. Other times I would just let them sit in my mouth avoiding the temptation to chew until that distinctive flavor of the color coating wore off and all that was left was the licorice. Then there were times I position my tongue just a certain way against an open end and got a slight whistling effect as I blew through the SNAP. Lots of great memories come alive by popping these long-treasured morsels in my mouth. Each experience is a trip down memory lane to a time more innocent and simple. Glad to see Candy Favorites continuing the tradition.

PatV I had previously bought the 6-bag case and would give a bag to each of my siblings. Ran out immediately and they were clamoring for more! I'm now expected to show up with Snaps at every family visit. Is the love for snaps genetic?
