This timeline coincides with an unverified account of a similar candy – The Tom Henry Bar - being invented in 1910 which gives credibility to the O’Henry Bar being mentioned in a 1915 Tom Swift novel that said it was used an “energy bar” during the First World War.

I was so excited to find this mix again after its not available in stores. It's good but it's not the original recipe. Brachs never tasted this sweet and that smooth texture is missing when you bite into it. The only piece that had some original tast was the small maple leaf.and I was expecting Indian corn in this but it was the regular C.Corn. I won't order this again but I may try their Indian corn.the package did arrive with some of it melted.

My dentist advised to have sugarless if one wants something sweet after meals. Since following that advice have never had another cavity, and it's been years. Sugarless hard candy satisfies sweet tooth and keeps mouth from being dry.
