Did you know that rumor has it that Mary Janes were originally created in Paul Revere's old house in Boston? These delightful taffy candies were one of the oldest American candies until 2018 when NECCO closed it's the door. Rest assured, they were gone but not forgotten.
As candy lovers around the globe lamented the loss of their favorite Molasses and Peanut Butter taffy, the good folks at Atkinson Candy Co. purchased the formula with the hopes of returning them.
The shape is slightly different but the taste remains as delicious as ever!

They just isn't the same. The taste, looks, shape, even the color of the wrapping. Sounds like, aw not like it used to be.

Mary Janes should be tender and chewy. These were hard a brittle. When I bite into them the "shatter". Will not buy them again
Not so good. Either recipe changed or maybe your stock is old?
This candy had been out of sales every where for over a year. It is my husband's favorite and I am so glad we found it with this company. They are reliable and helpful.
Always the WORST candy given at Halloween and awful flavor. No thanks! Please do not give this candy at Halloween or EVER!

My dentist advised to have sugarless if one wants something sweet after meals. Since following that advice have never had another cavity, and it's been years. Sugarless hard candy satisfies sweet tooth and keeps mouth from being dry.
Bought my cinnamon square lollipops here and it was such a treat for me and my family to share in a memory of my childhood.

Not what I thought I ordered. Flavor was less than I expected. I thought I was ordering a specific brand of buttermints.
