These are so bad they are literally unpalatable. I miss Brach’s Chicks and Bunnies. There is NO comparison.
We are sorry you didn't enjoy the marshmallow treats, and we agree that they are different from Chicks and Bunnies, which makes a true comparison a challenge! Brachs discontinued almost all of their beloved seasonal candies, so at this point, we are happy to have an item close enough to bring back memories. Spangler versus brachs
Spangler brand is nothing like brachs chicks and rabbits. They taste awful.. brachs chicks and rabbits are my favorite my whole life ever since I can remember and I will be 70 in April... all my favorite foods have been disappearing over the years.. really bums me out..please bring them back
Sadly, almost everything that Brach's made has disappeared! Having been in this business for over 30 years, I have never seen classics disappear as they are doing now! Spanger may not be Brachs but at least they are offering a product from our childhoods, however different they may be.

Not Happy
I've bought these before at a store and they were soft. I received mine and they were not soft at all. They seemed to be old
We are sorry you are 'not happy' with your transaction and want to offer some insight. There use to be two varieties of these candies and one was called Brach's Chicks n' Rabbits which was discontinued. These were slightly softer but they haven't been offered for years. The candy you received is a marshmallow based candy but harder in consistency. This is not a sign of defect or staleness but rather how the product is made. We can't change how a product tastes but we can assure you that what you received is factory fresh and in perfect condition. I hope this offers some clarification and please know we are grateful for your feedback as well as having you as a customer.

These were one of my favorite candies growing up and my mom used to give them to us when we had upset stomach, works very well on that! There’s a different name on them but same wonderful candy!
The candy you are referring to is the Canada Mints which were made by Necco prior to the company going bankrupt! We searched high and low until we found a new substitite and are thrilled they were well received on your end! The name may be different but they offer the same great taste!
