The original was made by NECCO who went out of business in 2019 but the new ones, manufactured by RITO, taste almost as good - maybe even better! Imitation, after all, is the highest form of flattery!
Much like White Peppermints, the original pink lozenges first appeared in Canada during the late 1880s, but didn't arrive in the United States until the early 1900s, hence their nickname "Canada Mints." Originally sold in bulk, it wasn't until 1916 that they were offered as a $.05 count good which gave them pride of place on any well-appointed candy counter. These were one of my favorite candies growing up and my mom used to give them to us when we had upset stomach, works very well on that! There’s a different name on them but same wonderful candy!
The candy you are referring to is the Canada Mints which were made by Necco prior to the company going bankrupt! We searched high and low until we found a new substitite and are thrilled they were well received on your end! The name may be different but they offer the same great taste!

I can remember how the original Canada Wintergreen Mints tasted and their easily chewable consistency. I loved them as a teen in the '50's and these Rita's are a carbon copy!

My dentist advised to have sugarless if one wants something sweet after meals. Since following that advice have never had another cavity, and it's been years. Sugarless hard candy satisfies sweet tooth and keeps mouth from being dry.
I've been purchasing these from another company that discontinued the product. Yours taste excellent too. Also, y'all expedited the delivery and the contents were received well. I'm looking forward to doing more business with you. I'm addicted to these things & have turned many on to them also. :)

Clark bars have anew formula and they are a little harder. Whether for the better or worse is a matter of opinion - I personally like them- but what isn't up for discussion is that we are thrilled that this old school candy bar is still available! So many classic candies have been discontinued!
We totally agree and like any Brachs produts, these are harder to find every season! With that said, few caies are mre delicious than FRESH Brah's Christmas nougats!
