This new recipe is not as delicious as they used to be. I really hope they bring back the old formula.

They don't taste the same.
I know these are the replacements after being gone for several years, but these don't taste the same. They are too chewy and too sweet. They don't taste bad by any means, but they just aren't the ones from my childhood.
Thanks for sharing. As these were not available in the US for several year due to ingredient issues, I suspect the formula and flavor may have changed but the good news is that they are still available as they were a much requested retro candy.

My dentist advised to have sugarless if one wants something sweet after meals. Since following that advice have never had another cavity, and it's been years. Sugarless hard candy satisfies sweet tooth and keeps mouth from being dry.

These were one of my favorite candies growing up and my mom used to give them to us when we had upset stomach, works very well on that! There’s a different name on them but same wonderful candy!
