Sadly, the days of candy costing what it did in our childhood are long gone. The good thing is that the candy is still available!

Sometimes the memory is better than....
Jujubes, I remember them as a candy that I really looked forward to. The flavors and a hard, chewy texture were a big hit. Today's Jujubes still have great flavor (especially the lavender), but the texture is softer than I remember. The texture is more chewy.
I still have gone memories and will try Jujubes again. But all in all, a good treat.
