I ordered the bulk 3 lb. Necco brand conversation hearts. They arrived in record time and were exactly as described not to mention fresh. These candy hearts bring back childhood memories for me. I was happy to get them. It is sad to think they may not be made in the future.

My husband bought these for me, thinking he was going to surprise me with the Necco conversation hearts I can no longer find in stores. They are OK, BUT they ARE NOT the original Necco flavors or texture. The Necco's I love are those "chalky-like" texture hearts. I will say, I'd rather have the Sweetheart brand over Brach's.
Thanks for sharing your comments. The debate of Necco Sweethearts versus Brach's Conversation Hearts has been going on since time eternal and everyone has their opinion, none right or wrong. The conversation hearts you received are classic Sweethearts and the last 'original' batch ever made. Over the years, the flavor and formula have changed but they still are delicious and let's cross our fingers that this last batch is not the 'end of an era'.
Whenever I see a Conversation Heart, I think of my mom and the Valentine’s Days of my childhood.

Package came with severe damage

This is an insurance and if your package came severely damaged, you may be able to file a claim. You need to go to the email you would have received from Route Protection when you placed the order and follow claim instructions. They usually request a photo or two but it's fairly simple to do and we highly recommend you do so.
