Cella Cherries are, to quote the manufacturer , "delicious cherries covered with real Milk Chocolate wrapped in foil" and a true delicacy as they been for over 155 years!
Introduced in 1863, these are one of the few candies still made with the "original formula" and while they may deserve pride of place in the Smithsonian Museum, we think they will be far more appreciated in your pantry!

These are my absolute favorite candy! Unfortunately, a quarter of them broke leaving just about every individually wrapped candy sticky. They are sectioned off inside the box. So each section has at least one broken causing the whole section to be covered in juice. It is possible not as many broke as I think, but very hard to tell because all sections had the sticky syrup. If there's some way to ship ensuring they won't break, I would buy them again. Best candy ever, just not a pleasant experience to enjoy them.
Thanks for sharing your experience and please accept our apologies per the cella cherries not arriving in a condition as they should. Any liquid center product is challenging to ship. We inspect every product before shipping but don't have much control over it's handling during transport. I might suggest that you opt for a thermal case or expedited shipping as these are the safest options, albeit costly, for shipping a highly perishable item.
