Brach’s Malt has long been considered the “good taste”  benchmark for chocolate covered malted milk balls. Despite many varieties being available, Brach’s Malts are delicious, hard to find and even harder to stop eating.

As one of the oldest Brach’s candy distributors in the nation, we want to clarify that they may taste different than what you recall. It is not a sign of a defective product but rather change.  As the old saying goes, “the only constant is changes.”

Ferrara Pan acquired Brach’s from Farley & Sathers in 2007 and merged with Ferrara Pan Company in 2012 only to be absorbed in 2017 by Ferrero, one of the largest candy manufacturers in the world.  Yes, we admit, this change of ownership is confusing so let's get back to the story. 

Changes bring positive and negative results.  In the past few years, many classics such as Ice Blue Mint Coolers and Neopolitan Coconut Squares disappeared while other favorites such as Jelly Nougats and Malts experienced formula changes.   Whether these changes are for better or worse is open for debate.

Our Brach’s Malts are the "real deal." To offer a better consumer value, we rebag them as they are no longer available in bulk. Rest assured, it is done in the safest conditions ensuring your beloved malt balls are in the best condition.

Yes, there is a strong chance that they may taste slightly different, but they remain one of our most popular candies and the best malted milk ball money can buy.
