Clark bar buyers beware!
This review is strictly regarding the Clark bars. The reseller was great! Unfortunately, the Clark bars are not what us older folks are used to having in our younger years. This new formulation has a hard center. Not the soft, brittle center we are used to. Some of the bars are hard enough in the center that people will crack or break off a tooth. Very, very disappointing. Again, though, the website reseller was great to deal with. No complaints whatsoever regarding them.
It's a catch 22nd we certainly appreciate your feedback. The new Clark Bars are different from the old with a harder center and overall consistency. I personally don't mind the formula change BUT what I like more is that they are still avalable as so many old school candies have disappeared all the more so ones that originated in Pittsburgh, where we are located! I have long believed in the adage that ' if it ain't broke, don't fix it,' but that often is not the case in the ever changing - and shrinking - candy industry. I grew up with Clark bars& for me there is no substitute. I tried the cups, too much chocolate.So I am very happy to be able to get the bars. I hope they are never discontinued. He shipping was quick & the packaging was more then adequate. Worth every penny.!

Melted, but still delicious
The Clark Bars were great, but melted. Only one ice pack was in the shipping box, and the candy melted in the wrappers. A few hours in the frig fixed it up. The candy bars were a delicious lump

My dentist advised to have sugarless if one wants something sweet after meals. Since following that advice have never had another cavity, and it's been years. Sugarless hard candy satisfies sweet tooth and keeps mouth from being dry.

I have no idea what happened to my order for two boxes of Clark bars
I have no idea what happened to my order for two boxes of Clark bars. My check was refunded and I was told there weren't any available at the time. The, only one day later, I received one box and the same card was used. I don't know what happened but if you find another spare box, please feel free to send that one too. I LOVE Clark bars and would never turn down one bar or one box. Whatever the reason for sending that one box, THANK YOU!!!!!
