Alert the media and get your shopping baskets ready. Tootsie has released its LIMITED EDITION candies for the fall season. Every candy lover is going to want to get their sticky paws on these, so get them while they last. The lineup is filled with many key players, but also a few benchwarmers for my particular taste. Tootsie has come out with a Limited Edition Vanilla Tootsie Roll, and basically all I can say about this one is that if you like unnecessarily sweet candy, this is for you. Like I said some may not agree with me, but this tootsie roll is so sweet I got a pain in my tooth from just smelling it. The vanilla flavor is there and it is strong, so the true people looking for a sugar high need to get on this product right away and ride it out all the way to the end of the year.
And time for the grand finale, the HOLY GRAIL of fall candy, Tootsie’s Limited Edition Caramel Apple Lollipops. After one lick of these, and you won’t ever look at candy corn again. I am confused about why more people aren’t fighting over these incredible creations in the streets. You start by enjoying the chewy outer caramel layer, that is just the right amount of sweet. But the best part is when you break through the caramel layer and get to the tart apple candy inside. The mixture of the two is the perfect combination and nothing makes it feel more like fall than when I see these lollipops stocked on shelves.
