Did you know that Blackjack Chewing Gum is one of the oldest gums in existence?
When it was first introduced in 1871, the gum was chicle-based and flavorless.
It wasn't until 1884 that licorice was added as a flavor (they first tried Sasparilla but it didn't taste as good as expected), thus making it the first flavored gum in the history of candy!
It was also the first chewing gum available in individually wrapped "sticks." Talk about an American classic!
Recently reintroduced in 2019, be amongst the first to get your hands on this elusive classic! Don't miss out!
- Contains 20 packs per box
- Made with the distinctive licorice flavor you know and love
- A true classic

Anonymous The content was exactly what I hoped for. The packaging was outrageously un-ecoligical. A box 12 times the size of the product stuffed with unrecyclable Styrofoam peanuts. What century is your packaging manager living in??!?
We apologize for any inconvenience caused by our packaging. As we are dealing with perishable products, especially during the busiest shipping time of the year, we prioritize ensuring the safety and quality of our products. Our packaging manager has chosen peanuts as they also serve as a cold and heat barrier too. We appreciate your concern and will take it into consideration for future improvements. Thank you for choosing CandyFavorites.com and here's wishing you a happy and healthy holiday season!

Old Dude My Grandpa always had a pack of Blackjack in his suit coat pocket (men wore suits back then). It was always a special treat to have him reach into his pocket and pull a pack of Blackjack out. My first piece of gum was Blackjack, probably about 1961 or so. Just smelling the gum brings back so many good memories of things that are no more. Thanks.
We appreciate your review and thank you for sharing your memories with us. At CandyFavorotes.com, the history and nostalgia of candy are just as important as the candy itself. Thank you for choosing Blackjack Gum and allowing us to be a part of your special memories.

Robert J. I have been chewing Blackjack since I was a kid, it would be great if it was made all the time again.

John M. My favorite over the years.

Guest Chewing Blackjack gum takes me back to the days my 'gang' and I sat in our treehouse telling lies and chewing our favorite gum...
We have long believed that candy connects people to a time when life was easier. It's half the fun of finding old school candies!
