Teaberry Chewing Gum was first introduced in the 1900s and has an unusual flavor falling somewhere between cinnamon and mint. "Teaberry" is a slang name for Wintergreen through the Southeastern United States where it grows wild.
Teaberry Gum was originally made by Clark Brothers Chewing Gum Company, located in Pittsburgh, PA, which is where CandyFavorites is based!
Here's a piece of fun candy trivia - Clark Brothers was also the same company that introduced the Clark Bar!
In 2018, Teaberry Flavored Gum disappeared from well-appointed candy counters only to return in 2021 after the trademark and formula were acquired by the same company - Verburg - that brought back Beemans, Blackjack, and Clove Gum.

First, the company (Candy favorites) is great! The review is abut the Gum. It does have the tea berry flavor, and I appreciate the packaging is reminiscent of the original. The packs do not all open the way they should, with that little "tab" to take off the top. I will enjoy all of the packs, but the new manufacturer should investigate the flavor to make it last longer, and maybe a tad "stronger"
I do appreciate this did not fall by the "wayside" and someone at least made this great effort to provide it, so I will continue to support it.
If you were a fan of the original TEABERRY this will fulfill you.
A great review of Teaberry Gum and while the packaging and flavor may have changed, we are fortunate that this beloved classic was brought back after many years of not being available much like Beemans, Blackjack and Clove Gum. In an age when so many candies are being discontinued, it is a pleasure to be able to see a candy return and not disappear!

Everything was good. The delivery was fast and I especially liked that it was packed with ice packages and quilted aluminum blanket. The bars were fresh and delicious.

These jelly fruit slices are some of the freshest candy I've had. They are similar to Chuckles only much softer and dusted with just the right amount of sugar. They're perfect!

The cigarettes arrived mostly intact and taste exactly how I remembered them. I refused to buy them on Amazon because of the mixed reviews from 3rd party sellers. However, this seller delivered as advertised (and with no red mold!)
Remember these when I was a kid Growing up to my surprise there still available from candy favorites!
