As a kid I always wondered what it would be like to finally get to try Starbursts. Seeing the commercials always made them even more exciting as my sister and I sat in front of the TV on a Saturday morning watching the Bursting waves of Rushing Water through bedrooms and school hallways leaving all the kids soaked. What would that be like I had to wondered. How Cool!!
Finally when I had my first Starburst with my sister we braced for the impact of the impending wave of cool flavor filled water......and it never came. That's when I learned beyond a shadow of a doubt that the reason my sister and I had waited soo long for our first Starbursts could only be because it must be Really Expensive Candy. The taste was proof enough that this was truly a worlds best of fine candy and my sister and I must have been extra good to have been given such a delightfully delicious and yet expensive treat.
Come to find out my sister and I were just really hyper and our parents just didn't give us candy very often. Either way as a boy I was sure Starbursts were one of the finer things in life :0)

I forgot how chocolatey it is! I haven’t had one since the late 70’s-80’s. I wonder why we no longer see them in our stores?
Usually my FAVORITE mints but recent box isn’t fresh (taste old) so they don’t melt in your mouth.
I usually love these mints but the box I received Saturday afternoon, the mints taste old. They aren’t fresh so the consistency is different and they don’t melt in your mouth. Bummer.
I have been searching for, “my grandmothers butterscotch,” and this is the closest I’ve come. Will definitely order in the future!
