My husband and I love payday candy bars, especially when they are fresh. But recently, we have been disappointed in the advertisements of the nudity candy bar. In this day and age of all types of sexuality being promoted, is nothing pure and descent when it comes to advertising any more? Especially concerning candy bars? Randy and Jan Jackson, Texas

Payday candy bars originated in Centralia, Illinois
Back in the fifties, Hollywood Candy Company began to produce Payday. A lot of Centralians worked there at one time or the other. Not sure when they closed, but remember while in California a friend bought one, I told him they were made in my home town, Of course he laughed until he read the wrapper. Made in Centralia, Illinois. that was in the early seventies.

I ordered earth day candyglobes. I was called by Ricky that they had just filled their last amount. When I told her that our ECO group was having a gathering on Eartg Day, she said she would do what she could to see if they are delivered she could get them to me on time. I assumed that would not happen, but she called to say they arrived on Friday and she would het them to m by Monday. They arrived she called the next day to see if they arrived. Her service was amazing but onto the event . They were scooped up and loved.Everyone asking where they came from. In our review the company was heralded and I was told to order twice as much next year.
In these difficult days what a beautiful,kind pleasant and delicious experience! When I called her back the owner answered and explained that service comes first. They are in business 99 years and the first candy store online in 1998.
