It’s been so long since I had a Pearson caramel nip, so I can’t say if these are exactly the same. It doesn’t seem like it though. As soon as the candy hits the tongue, there is an off flavor…like chemicals. It doesn’t last or the mouth gets used to it. After that it is ok and is close enough to my memory of nips.
Then, while the price isn’t horrible, when Pearson nips we’re available in the store, there were often sales and BOGOs. Having to buy Brach’s on line (not available in any stores near me), the possibility of sales is zero.
While I’m glad to still be able to get any nips, I’m just not very thrilled with these things.
We're glad you enjoyed the nostalgic aspect, but sorry to hear the flavor wasn't quite what you expected. We appreciate your honesty, and unfortunately, things don't often stay the same, especially in an industry where products are discontinued far too often, especially Brach's candies, which are impossible to find. The good news is that you can always purchase them on CandyFavorites.com and have them shipped to your door. All in the name of progress, I guess...

Nips Hard Caramels are back
Finally I found nips caramels, properly wrapped, properly shipped. The right hardness, the right sweetness. Depending on my mood I can suck two or four at the time. (What I do is my business)

I used to get the Maple Bun all the time when I lived in Ohio, but it's almost impossible to find now that I live in Florida. Was so excited when I found it online. It was very fresh and delicious. I will order again when I run out.
I have opened 1 of the 2 boxes so far but evrry single candy stick in this box is UNBROKEN🤗. I am hoping the 2nd box will be just like this.
Last order the 2nd box was almost all broken but honestly, every other shipment I received from this company has been in near perfect condition. I did not complain about the one box that wasn't because I love this company and I love their products, their careful packaging and their fast shipments!!!

I tried a limited time release butterfinger french toast bar from a convenience store and went back next day and they were sold out. After many online retailers advertising the same bar for $10-$12 each I found candy favorites online and was able to get 3 boxes of these amazing bars shipped to my home on ice packs all for around $2 per bar.
I Keep them in the fridge. Grandkids have discovered they are there so I may be ordering again very soon!
