An interesting bit of trivia about Goobers is that they originated as a large milk chocolate disk but the problem was that the size was too large as the candy measured over 2.5 inches in diameter?
As per their name, in 1925, the company introduced the first chocolate covered peanut which they named Goobers which was a nickname for peanuts in North Carolina where the family originated.
Each box of Goobers "On The Go" Concession Boxes has a net weight of 3.5 oz., only 220 calories, and measures 3.25" x 6.25". There are 15 boxes per case.
