Brach's Filled Strawberries are indeed classic and these are the new and improved beloved filled strawberry candy from Brach's, America's favorite confectioner.
Please note that the wrappers no longer have the Brach's name on them as that was changed in late 2008, but they do still have their cheerful red and green wrapper, delicious hard candy outershell, and the yet-to-be surpassed strawberry filling.

We appreciate your sharing sentiments but encourage you to be cautious with words as the product that you received was not 'FAKE'.
Brachs was purchased by Ferrara Pan a few years ago and many of the products changed in either appearance, formula or taste. This doesn't mean that they became 'Fake' but rather that they are different than what you might recall. We discuss this in our FAQ and RETURNS section.
We are sorry the candy didn't meet your needs but as a wholesaler and not the manufacturer, we really have no control in the process.
Personally, I am not a huge fan of change but it does occur.
The product you received was made by Brachs thus making it 'genuine' but, again, it may be different than what you recall.

Vicki C. These r given to cancer patients who need flavor type candies while taking chemo. They really like them. Will buy again.

Kathleen M. I purchased these candies for my 93 year old neighbor because Brachs was no longer being sold in Publix where she shops. I was not pleased to see that the strawberry filled candies were (I believe) NOT made by Brachs, as their candy wrappers are twisted at the top end only. I told Sofie (my neighbor) that they must have changed the way they wrap them. She was satisfied but I'm a bit "miffed".
Also, the caramels (although we were home and they were delivered directly from the delivery man's had to ours) had a number of them (mostly the butter rum) with the paper wrapping stuck to the caramel.
Sorry to have to submit this type of info but I tell it when its good news and I tell it when its bad news.

I AM VERY UPSET WITH YOU.YOUR VERSION OF THE BRACHS FILLED STRAWBERRY WAS SMALLER,SOUR,AND WHAT WAS IN THE CENTER WAS NOT SWEET AND WAS GRITTY.I WOULD LIKE YOU TO SEND ME A POSTAGE PAID SLIP SO I MAY RETURN TWO OF THE THREE BAGS FOR A REFUND PLEASE.
