I always liked Brach’s Bridge Mix so when I couldn’t find I asked Chat GPT where I could find a bridge mix. Your name came up. The chocolate is smooth and delicious…. Better than Brachs. Shipping has long been a challenge, as it often costs more than the product itself, and it always exceeds the amount we charge the customer. We don't use shipping as a profit center and never have.
You opted for flat-rate shipping at $11.95, but the actual cost was $12.16. We also included an ice pack, which is approximately $2, to safeguard your product. Basic math shows that we actually charged you less than what it costs us!
It always pays to order larger quantities to either offset shipping costs or take advantage of free shipping at $149.95 - our threshold is among the lowest in the industry. Please note that candy, especially chocolate, is perishable. We need to ship it in a way that best protects the product.
With that said, we are glad you enjoyed your chocolates and that they were delivered promptly and safely, and that the above gives you a better understanding of shipping and related costs.
