In 1958, the English Cartoonist Reg Smythe first launched the cartoon strip in the Daily Mirror. It became a cult phenomenon and to this day, it is still published in over five hundred (500) newspapers circling the globe.
It wasn’t until the early seventies that the chips were introduced and, to date, the Hot Fries remain the best seller.
In 1998, this classic snack favorite was acquired by Con Agra Foods from Goodmark Foods.
