Green M&M's®, manufactured by Masterfoods USA, have long been the subject of myth as they are considered, by some, to have magical aphrodisiac powers. Whether or not this is true is, of course, subject to interpretation (and personal experience).
Curious as to how this myth may have occurred, we did a little informal research and learned the following fun facts about the color Green. According to Celtic myths, the Green Man was the God of Fertility. Green has long been considered a metaphor and symbol for fertility, and this was evident in the 15th century as Green was the preferred color for wedding attire. The symbolism attached to the color green continues today even though it has taken on a more modern meaning.
The myth about Green M&M's® was fueled in the late seventies and early eighties, as rock-and-roll performers like Van Halen requested bowls of Green M&M's® backstage. Adding to this myth, in 1996 Masterfoods released a commercial asking, "Is it true what they say about green ones?"
There is no empirical evidence as to whether or not these fabled candies have magical powers, but we do know that they taste great and are part of Americana candy lore. Van Halen revealed that they made their especially specific request to make sure that their tour promoters were paying attention to detail. If they missed a trivai request about candy, they would most likely miss more important requests.
Each factory-sealed bulk bag includes 5 pounds of single-color M&M's®, and there are approximately 500 Green M&M's® per pound. These candies are exclusively manufactured by Masterfoods / M&M Mars.

Paid $5 for expedited processing. Paid $16 for 2 day shipping. Paid $25 for 2 pounds of m&m's. Ordered at 9am on Thursday, September 22, received on Wednesday, the 28th. How is that expedited processing? Considering I paid $46 for 2 pounds of m&m's, I expected better.

EVERY THING WONDERFUL...FRESH ALWAYS, DELIVER
Everything Wonderful...Fresh always, Deliver Quick. The only think was the order was large & in one bag would have liked in two bags. Recommend to everyone...Thank you Always
I never received this order, got the raspberry candy and am happy with them but am very disappointed that the chocolate filled candy must have gotten lost.
This is an insurance and if your package came severely damaged, you may be able to file a claim. You need to go to the email you would have received from Route Protection when you placed the order and follow claim instructions. They usually request a photo or two but it's fairly simple to do and we highly recommend you do so.
