In warmer or more humid conditions, they may be softer, and in colder weather, they may be harder. This is not a sign of defect, but rather how the ingredients, mainly pressed sugar, react to outside conditions. We apologize if this was not what you were expecting. When I was a child
When I was a child my mother used to buy peppermint puffs. I'm trying to find some like those. These are the closest I've found yet. Very flavorful. They don't melt quite the same but my favorite of the ones I've tried.

I tried a limited time release butterfinger french toast bar from a convenience store and went back next day and they were sold out. After many online retailers advertising the same bar for $10-$12 each I found candy favorites online and was able to get 3 boxes of these amazing bars shipped to my home on ice packs all for around $2 per bar.
I Keep them in the fridge. Grandkids have discovered they are there so I may be ordering again very soon!
