Hershey’s Kisses are an integral part of America's candy landscape. Created in 1907, production has only stopped only once, and that was because of World War II.
Thankfully, Hershey's Kisses are available now and have been without interruption for more than 60 years.
While it's not known exactly how Kisses got their name, the popular theory is that the candy was named for the sound of the chocolate being wrapped during manufacturing althoguh others claim that this is the response that a loved one gives them when they receive a piece of this delicious milk chocolate...unlesa, of course, the lucky receipient is on a diet.
