Hershey’s Kisses are an integral part of America's candy landscape. Created in 1907, production has only stopped only once, and that was because of World War II.
Thankfully, Hershey's Kisses are available now and have been without interruption for more than 60 years.
While it's not known exactly how Kisses got their name, the popular theory is that the candy was named for the sound of the chocolate being wrapped during manufacturing.
Please note that in honor of the 100th Anniversary of the beloved Kiss, the tags have sayings on them similar to those on conversation hearts mixed in with the classic Hershey's paper banner.
