Andy Capp Cheddar Fries are a perennial favorite and have been since they were first offered in 1971 by Goodmark Foods. In 1998, this classic snack favorite was acquired by Con Agra Foods. The name comes from the fact that an Andy Capp comic strip was featured on the back of the packages.
