Mary Jane candies are a delicious mix of peanut butter and molasses flavoring in a chewy taffy square.
This classic retro candy was created in 1914 by Charles Miller, who paid homage to his favorite aunt Mary Jane by naming the candy after her. Fast forward over 100 years, and this delicious taffy remained a benchmark for classic chewy candies until it was discontinued in 2018 when NECCO went out of business.
The good news is that Atkinson Candy Company purchased the formula and returned this beloved classic to its rightful place in 2020 although the new pieces are slightly larger than the bite-size pieces of yesteryear
Mary Janes are one of the few candies that still uses the original formula. Although variations have been tried, they always returned to the essential molasses and peanut butter recipe that made people fall in love with Mary Jane all over the country.
Net Weight 5 lb.
Mary Janes were manufactured by NECCO but, as of 2020, are made by Atkinson Candy Company.
Approximately sixty pieces per pound
Please note that the new candy is now oblong and measures approximately 1.5" excluding wrapper twists

I ordered 5 lb bulk Mary Jane to be sure I'd have plenty to get me through for a while. I'm real glad I did. These were as fresh as I can describe. The delivery was lightning fast too. I have No complaints but I'm thrilled with this order. This was my 1st order placed with this company and I'll definitely be coming back for more but it might take me a while to finish what I've bought already. : - )

Not as good as the
Not as good as the old fashion rectangular shape Mary Janes with the peanut butter center.I ordered the 3inch oblong, and got the bite size. They are too small. Contacted company and got no response

Everything Wonderful...Fresh always, Deliver Quick. The only think was the order was large & in one bag would have liked in two bags. Recommend to everyone...Thank you Always
I saw I could order Snaps after a lifetime drought. I order 6#,s, and ate em all. I saw a problem forming so I ordered 9# of Snaps in 12 oz packs. Still . I wanted sealed Snaps for the long haul. So I ordered another 6# bag … and ate it. The pandemic hits and I salivate over my sealed 12 oz bags. Then I ate em. A year later I found Snpas online. The were not cheap. I bought 4 12 oz bags. Opened the last one yesterday.
