Hot Weather Shipping

Nothing is better than chocolate or candy during the hot summer months but candy is a perishable product and does not hold up well in delivery unless you take precautions.

In order to help guide you through shipping in Hot Weather, we make the following suggestions:

Please order, at least, one (1) ICE PACK per chocolate candy ordered. The ice packs are reusable, last approximately three days when fully frozen, and can be reused in lunch boxes or cooler chests.

You may also choose to order an Insulated ThermoSafe which is reusable.

Please note that CandyFavorites.com, does not accept responsibility for damage that may occur to perishable products during transit nor are we able to ship chocolate items, during the summer months, unless the item will be in transit for three (3) days or less.

If possible, try to arrange to have your candy delivered to an air conditioned location, such as a business, where someone is able to receive your package. Often, UPS will leave packages on your porch if no one is home which is risky in high temperature areas.

Perishable orders can only be shipped Monday - Thursday (East Coast) and Monday - Wednesday (West Coast) with the exception of Overnight Orders.

We will do our best to offer guidance but the ultimate responsibility for a product’s safe delivery lies with the purchaser.
