Wedding Candy Buffet Outdoors
Whether inside or out, a candy buffet adds a special touch to your event

How do I create the “Perfect” Candy Buffet?

The key to creating a memorable candy buffet is to infuse it with your personality and theme of your event.

There are many ways to approach this and some people purchase by color while others chose a theme. Some people may simply choose their favorite candies.

The good news is that there is no right or wrong way so our advice is to trust your instincts and chose candies that you enjoy.

How much candy should I purchase?

As opposed to other edible items, it is important to consider that candy is both edible and decorative and the more that you have, the more impressive your display. However, there is no exact ideal quantity as each Candy Buffet is different.

Our standard suggestion is to purchase no less than ten (10) pounds per item and you may want to order more of smaller items, such as Jelly Beans, as they tend to settle in large containers.

When deciding on how much to purchase, here are a few things to consider:

1) Is the Candy Buffet going to be available for the entire function or is it strictly going to be offered as an appetizer or dessert option?

2) Are the candies intended to be consumed on site or is it designed for people to take home as a party favor?

Nothing is worse than a Candy Buffet that runs out early, especially if it is being offered at the end of an event, as people tend to only remember the “beginning” and “end” of most social functions.

When should I order my candy?

We encourage you to purchase candy at least one (1) month prior to the event. This prevents last minute rushing and it will also give you a good idea of just how much candy you purchased.

If you feel that you need more candy, we can easily and economically ship you more. If you wait until last minute, you may need to opt for Expedited Shipping options, which tend to be costly.

Also, if your event is being held during hot summer months, it may pay to order a few months in advance so as not to worry about your products being damaged in transit due to extremes of temperature.

We would be happy to work with you to help you choose a shipping option that ensures that your purchase arrives safely and in perfect condition.

Do you sell displays?

We do offer displays such as old fashioned glass Retro Candy Jars as well as scoops and clear candy bags.

Many customers will choose to provide their own containers as these can be purchased anywhere. Many of the most creative buffets have encompassed unusual or theme-oriented containers.

Will you work with our Party Planner?

We would be happy to work with either you and or the person responsible for planning your event.

We realize that candy is only one aspect of your special event and with our combination of customer service and personal service, we can help you do this easily and efficiently.

On orders exceeding $500, we offer a “VIP Service” that offers you a specific person assigned to your account who can help you in almost any capacity.

What do I do if I have candy left over after my event?

If you order properly, this probably will not be a problem, as people tend to consume as much candy as is offered.

A nice touch would be to donate the remainder of the candy to a hospital or to those less fortunate. This is often done with flowers and you can’t imagine the joy that people will have being able to enjoy something sweet from your special event.
