When I was a child my 3 siblings and I all had our favorite hard candies that we always picked out of the assortment that Mom bought and put in the pretty pick depression glass dish. We were limited to one piece a day and I always went for the hard red raspberries with the soft sweet center. Sometimes I would crunch down quickly and enjoy the explosion of textures and flavor, at other times I would let the candy melt slowly on my tongue and savor every last sensation. Love these things and I'm so glad that I can still find them and relive those long ago years, AND share them with my grandchildren and great grandchildren! I'm grown up now, and I have learned to share! :) Wouldn't have happened when I was a kid!
