Mary Jane candies are a delicious mix of peanut butter and molasses flavoring in a chewy taffy square.
This classic retro candy was created in 1914 by Charles Miller, who paid homage to his favorite aunt Mary Jane by naming the candy after her.
This is one of the few candies that still uses the original formula, and although variations have been tried, they always returned to the basic molasses and peanut butter recipe that made people fall in love with Mary Jane all over the country.
