Malted Milk Balls are a lightweight, crunchy chocolate treat with a sweet history. They were created in 1873 when a pharmacist named James Horlick was trying to develop a nutritional supplement for infants. Fortunately for candy lovers, his experiment went beyond his original vision and caught on with the general population. Little did he know at the time that he would end up being known as the father of one of the best-tasting chocolate candies of all time!
