Bosco Chocolate Syrup is a retro icon and has a marvelous place in both candy and film lore.
First introduced in 1928, it was a favorite of Dick Van Dyck in the 1950’s and was actually featured in the classic Alfred Hitchcock film called Psycho when it was used as blood during the famous, or perhaps infamous, shower scene.
If that is not enough, this was also featured in the television show Laverne & Shirley and Seinfield. Here's a hint, can anyone guess what George secret PIN code was? Here's a hint, it is the name of a delicious candy bar mentioned above.
Oh, did we menton that Bosco's classic advertising jingle can be overheard in the animated film Shrek!
Fast forward to 2010 and this delicious chocolate syrup has been reincarnated in the form of an oversized 3.5 ounce milk chocolate candy bar complete with original retro graphics.
Bosco has been "making memories since 1928" and we have been "serving candy lovers since 1927" so it is fair to say that this is a match made in candy heaven!
CandyFavorites.com offers the internet's largest candy selection and we would love customers to share childhood memories and thoughts about sweets from their past.
