Milk chocolate covered marshmallow with toasted coconut. It is the candy equivalent of a religious experience. Hard to find outside of the Northeast. They are gluten free, and are the first cup candy. Been in production since 1925 by Boyer Brothers who sold them door to door.

what is the record for eating Mallo cups? A friend dared me to eat a hundred of them once. I ate one hundred and twelve. Is that a lot? I have never eaten one since.

I have just been diagnosed with celiac and need to be gluten free. I cannot find if your mallo cups are gluten free. I love them! Can you please email me and let me know if they are gluten free.
Thanks

I thought I left a comment here yesterday, but I must have dreamed it!

Just so you know, despite what Boyer claim, the Mallo Cup wasn't the first "cup candy". Mallo Cups date from the early 1930s, while Reese's Peanut Butter Cups are from 1928 and Sifer's Valomilk is from 1930.
