I think all those candy suggestions sound great, however, we get so overwhelmed with candy after Thanksgiving, I'm thinking we should stick with the pumpkin pie. Every day I come in to my office there is at least one box of candy to savor.

Speaking of work, If any of the readers are in sales, I have a good idea that will help make your numbers much quicker to leave not only more time for enjoying your candy but also more money to buy or make the best candy you can.

Be quiet and listen.....
Blessed with the "gift of gab" are you? That's nice. But true sales professionals kow that before they start gabbing to customers about their product features or anything else, they need to listen to what the customer has to say - and demonstrate that they're paying attention.
Customers won't buy from you if they don't like you, trust you or respect you. And they are far more likely to buy when you can position your product or service as a solution to what they perceive as an important need. Listening is the key sales skill that allows you to earn customer's trust and uncover their needs at the same time.

There are chocolate turkeys, wrapped in colorful foil. And don't overlook maple sugar candy shaped like fall leaves. Very Thanksgiving-ish.

With the advent of flavored Marshmallow Peeps (i.e. Cocoa Cats for Halloween, Cookie-flavored Christmas Peeps, and Vanilla and Orange Valentines Hearts), I think it would be only appropriate that the Peeps folks release pumpkin-pie flavored peeps (and regular peeps in turkey shapes). Not too far-fetched, considering they even release July 4 Peeps now.
