This is it. This is the candy that justifies chocolate obsessions and addictions. This is the chocolate that can actually make your mouth water at the sight of it, and the chocolate that defines creamy and defines milk chocolate. This is the chocolate that sets the bar for all chocolates. Please, if you find a chocolate that you think can give the Lindor Chocolate Balls some competition, let me know, because I would love to try that chocolate.

The only chocolate that I’ve tasted that even comes close to this is chocolate that my friends have brought back straight from the homeland of chocolate itself, Switzerland. What a coincidence! These Lindt Lindor chocolate balls are manufactured in Kilchberg, Switzerland by a team of dedicated and experienced chocolate chefs.

Lindt began in 1845 in Zurich’s old town when David Sprüngli-Schwarz and his son Rudolf Sprüngli-Ammann decided to make chocolate. The Lindor Balls were originally produced in 1969 as Christmas tree decorations. Its demand and popularity convinced Lindt to make these chocolates year round. The Lindor name came from combining Lindt with the French word for gold: or (Lindt + or  = Lindor). This is a very appropriate name because this chocolate really is the quality of gold. Enjoy your visit in heaven while it lasts.
