Over the Rainbow

Perfect for fun kids’ parties, these rainbow cupcakes are sure to brighten anyone’s day. To start, create blue skies by stirring a few drops of blue food coloring into your favorite frosting until it reaches your desired shade of blue. After spreading the icing onto your cupcake, fold a candy Airheads Xtremes Rainbow Berry Belt into an arc and stick both ends into the cupcake. Add two dollops of white icing at either end of the rainbow candy and voilà, you have a delicious treat that is sure to turn frowns upside down.

Who wouldn’t smile upon seeing these fun little treats sitting on the kitchen table? To achieve this decoration, you’ll need lots of M&Ms, green icing, and a black food marker (try Americolor Gourmet Writer). Use the food marker to draw a semicircle at one end, a stripe down the center and polka dots on a red M&M to create a ladybug. Then, on a yellow M&M, draw a semicircle at one end and add stripes to create a bumblebee. Carefully place the M&Ms on your green icing and you’re done – simple as that!

Send your Teddy Grahams for a swim with this fun, summer-inspired cupcake decoration. Turn your favorite icing blue with just a few drops of food coloring and apply it to your cupcake with wave-like motions. For the finishing touch, place your Gummi Peach Ring on top of your icing, and press a Teddy Graham into the center. And there you have it, an adorable cupcake perfect for your next party.
It’s simple to transform any plain cupcake into a work of art with these ideas, and this is just the beginning! Turn your cupcakes into showstoppers by drawing inspiration from the variety of candy available on candyfavorites.com. You tell us – which candy has you ready to bake?
