If we were good the entire time in the store, mom would let us each pick 5 candies from the Brach's display. Needless to say that this took longer than the rest of the time we were in the store. We were sitting in the park next to the hospital, where my Grandma was admitted, and he and I talked about her getting better. He pulled out a Chunky and we shared it. It was my first memory of ever having candy, and it is my favorite candy bar to this day! I miss him terribly since he is gone, but I remember that day and him each time I have one.
