These were so old and stale the people at the senior center could not chew them. Since these were bought for them (By special requests) we are extremely unhappy with them.
I did send you an email regarding this and I do hope to hear from you as to what am I supposed to do with 5 pounds of hard, stale candy.
Hi! I researched your order and the Anise Bears are as factory fresh as possible as we just received them from the manufacturer. Please bear in mind that texture / softness can be affected by variables such as humidity, coldness, et al but this is not indicative of a stale product. As such, we can not offer a substitution as, again, these were manufactured in January...

Great customer service and prices
I tried a limited time release butterfinger french toast bar from a convenience store and went back next day and they were sold out. After many online retailers advertising the same bar for $10-$12 each I found candy favorites online and was able to get 3 boxes of these amazing bars shipped to my home on ice packs all for around $2 per bar.
I Keep them in the fridge. Grandkids have discovered they are there so I may be ordering again very soon!
