Reintroduced in 2004, Squirrel Nut Zippers are one of the most requested retro candies ever made!

This candy was introduced in 1905 and was one of the first peanut candy bars

It was discontinued in the late 1980's and introduced, as bite size candy, in 2004!

Did you know that Squirrel Nut Zippers were, and still are, called Squirrel Nut Chews in certain parts of the country

Although they are manufactured by the New England Confectionary Company (NECCO), the license for this product belongs to a Texas conglomerate who purchased them in the late 1990's
