Mary Janes are one of the oldest American candies and are close to a hundred (100) years old

In 1914, Charles Miller named this candy after his favorite aunt who was named Mary Jane

This is one of the few candies that still uses the “original formula” and although many variations have been tried, they always returned to the basic molasses and peanut butter formula
