My gosh!!! Ilived out on Long Island as a young girl,it was the 1960's and my dad worked for a company out there that sent him away overseas to work but every time he came home he would walk towards us with his hands out holding this candy.he called them frenchys

Julia, I live on Long Island. You may be upset to know, but these are hard to find. My mother loved these. It's now a sort of tradition to shower her in these sweets.

The jelly nougats are the best. I worked at the Whiteway, a regional variiety store, and was hooked on these things. They were so hard to find until I found them on candyfavorites.com. A coworker and I share the love of this candy. She is a cancer survivor and we celebrated with some of this candy.
