Many great candies were introduced in the 1930's with the most famous being the Snickers Bar which was named after the horse that was owned by Forrest Mars, the owner of M&M Mars.

Other favorites include the Heath Bar which , during World War Two, was included in soldier's ration kits as it was found to have a long shelf life and was originally marketed as a "health" food
